“Embracing Evaluation in Tough Economic Times”

2009 Annual Conference

October 1-2, 2009

Ramada Plaza Hotel, Toronto, Ontario

The votes are in! With a 98% overall satisfaction rate, this year’s CES-Ontario Chapter conference "Embracing Evaluation in Tough Economic Times" was a resounding success. A total of 89 delegates gathered to explore the influence and contribution evaluation has for programming and policy and how evaluations can help organizations manoeuvre through tough economic times.

The two day conference had it all - from key note speaker Dr. Linda Morra Imas, to an audio webcast with Michael Quinn Patton, a panel with renowned evaluators throughout Ontario, thematic breakfast discussions, a variety of workshops, and amazing networking opportunities.

Here’s what some of the attendees had to say:

"Excellent conference!"

"It changed my mind about the value of evaluation!"

"Excellent quality of speakers…high level discussions and presentations."

"This was the best CES-ON conference I have attended."

"The discussions will help advance the field of evaluation."

The conference was held October 1-2, 2009 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. Please see below for presentation notes and handouts for the key note address, audio webcast, workshops and sessions.
