25th Anniversary
Absolutely Fabulous Celebration and AGM
On November 27th, we had a smooth-running Annual General Meeting, followed by a very enjoyable 25th Anniversary Celebration in the warm surroundings of the Hart House Debates Room at the University of Toronto. We were joined by some old and new faces from our membership and by all 4 of our 25th Anniversary Contest Winners plus their nominators. For their evaluation stories and more information on the 25th Anniversary Contest, see below.
The contest winners and their nominators were clearly very appreciative of their awards. Virtually everyone in the room recollected an experience of a useful evaluation or memory from the history and evolution of the Ontario Chapter. There was a genuine atmosphere of fellowship, and the mind-numbing 25th Anniversary chocolate birthday cake was not to be missed. Many thanks to the members and guests who joined us. It was a really lovely time.
For more information on the annual general meeting, see the AGM page.
25th Anniversary Contest Winners Announced
Earlier this year, nine evaluation stories were submitted by organizations nominating a professional evaluator/firm or student evaluator for the award. Our members then reviewed the evaluation stories and voted for one in each category that they felt best demonstrated the benefits of evaluation.
Congratulations to the winners of the 25th Anniversary Contest!
