CES-ON Annual General Meeting Announced!
CES-ON held its Annual General Meeting during the annual Ontario conference on Thursday October 1st, 2009 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, at 4:15 pm. All members were invited to the event. The AGM is a great opportunity to meet other Board members and hear about the activities of the Chapter from the past year, as well as our plans for the upcoming year.
CES-ON Board Member Nominations
Elections for the 2010 Board of Directors took place at the Annual General Meeting. The Board of Directors can be a wonderful opportunity for interested members to help develop and deliver services to members and develop closer ties with peers. Board members contribute to the work of a committee by serving as chair, as well as provide input into the work of other committees and the ongoing business of the Board. People nominated for the Board of Directors must be CES-ON members.
The large majority of Board meetings are now held via teleconference to encourage participation from members outside of the GTA. In order to broaden member representation on the Board, we are particularly interested in receiving nominations from members located outside of Southern Ontario.
