Volunteers make the conference a success, so if you are interested please contact Nichole and Shirley at conference@evaluationontario.ca.
Megan Börner is our Professional Development Committee Chair, working with Co-Chair Sue Behari McGinty and other committee members to plan, develop and implement professional development for evaluators across Ontario by ensuring that the Essential Skills Series is offered at least once each year; providing 2 - 3 intermediate to advanced workshops each year; developing and maintaining a roster of qualified presenters for professional development workshops; assisting with the professional development provided at the AGM; reviewing professional development materials on a regular basis and arranging for materials to be updated as needed. If you are interested, please contact Megan and Sue at pd@evaluationontario.ca.
Scott Cholewa is our Communications Committee Chair, working with other members of the Communications Committee to facilitate communications within the chapter board, between the board and members, and between the chapter and the public. If you are interested in helping the Communications Committee, please contact Scott at communications@evaluationontario.ca.
Jim McTavish is our Membership Committee Chair. The Membership Committee promotes membership and offers ongoing support to other CES-Ontario committees by promoting membership in CES and the chapter; monitoring membership activity; conducting surveys with members; providing quarterly reports to other committees on the membership and survey results; continually looking for ways of improving/expanding current CES-Ontario services to members; and looking for ways to support/assist other CES-Ontario committees in key responsibilities. To join the committee, ask questions about which volunteer opportunities will best suit your interests, or any other membership related questions, email Jim at membership@evaluationontario.ca.
Mina Singh is the Chair of our Advocacy Committee. This committee has been extremely active in developing a chapter advocacy strategy, the 25th Anniversary Contest, and other initiatives.
