At our Annual General Meeting on October 7, 2008, the membership elected new members of the chapter board. The subsequent deadline for a call for nominations to fill two vacant 3-year term board positions was December 30, 2007. Valid nominations were received for two candidates, and five positions were available. These two new board members are hereby elected by acclamation.

You may have thought about running for the chapter board and decided this was not a good time for that type of involvement. Perhaps you could contribute as a member of one of our chapter committees, who are also essential to getting the work of the chapter done. Our continuing and new board members each chair a committee of the chapter and they need other chapter members interested in helping out.
