CES-ON Mission (2010-2013)

The mission of CES-ON is to build and sustain a vibrant evaluation community in Ontario by fostering the implementation of theory, research and evidence-informed practice to achieve evaluation excellence in the public, private and non-profit sectors and thus contribute to the betterment of society.

In our role as the go-to-organization for the profession of evaluation in the province, over the next three years, we will,

Increase the profile and influence of CES Ontario by,

Increasing our number and breadth of partnerships
Expanding our membership
Increasing the level of awareness of CES-ON within and outside the evaluation community
Reinforcing CES Ontario as the evaluation go-to organization for government and key decision makers in Ontario

Expand and enhance venues, methods and types of services offered to CES-ON members by,

Expanding our successful services and activities
Effectively utilization of technology
Reinforcing CES-ON as the one-stop source for evaluation needs, resources, and questions in Ontario

Optimize CES-ON board resources by,

Maintaining an adequate and stable financial base
Ensuring there is sufficient Board member support for effective chapter management
