The Ontario chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society is very pleased to announce the beginning of a two-year pilot program starting August 1, 2016 designed to support new graduates as they enter the field of evaluation. This pilot program is open to new applicants and renewing members of the Ontario chapter only.

The New Practitioner membership category offers recent graduates the membership rate of $110.00 per year, a discount of $85.00 on the individual membership rate. This discounted rate is available for two consecutive calendar years after graduation from a degree or diploma program. New Practitioners are also eligible for discounted rates at professional development courses and membership events hosted by the Ontario chapter. Please email to confirm prior to registration

How to apply:

Recent graduates interested in applying for this membership category should email with a copy of their degree/diploma or a dated transcript showing a completed program. CES Ontario defines “recent graduates” as students who have completed their course of study and obtained a degree or diploma any time in the previous two years. This currently includes graduates from 2014-2016.

The Ontario chapter administrative assistant will then provide them with a membership form and code they can use when registering or renewing their membership with the Canadian Evaluation Society’s national office.

Important note:

Both new and renewing members can apply for the New Practitioner category as long as they meet the eligibility criteria. Unfortunately, CES cannot accommodate requests to change membership categories retroactively and/or offer any refunds for memberships started or renewed prior to August 1, 2016. However, CES Ontario is willing to offer New Practitioner pricing on course fees to individual members who would otherwise be eligible for this membership category, upon proof of eligibility being provided to the Chapter.
