February 2: Nominations close for CES Awards

Nominations for The Canadian Evaluation Society's annual recognition of excellence in service and contribution to the field of evaluation will close February 2. This call for nominations is for the Service to CES Award and the Contribution to Evaluation Award.

Service to the CES Award

The Service to CES award is granted to one (or more) individual who is a member of CES and has made a significant contribution to the work of CES. This contribution would normally be made over a period in excess of two years; however, individuals who have performed in exemplary fashion during a shorter period of time may receive the award. The nomination is to include examples of demonstrated experience or activity and specify the time frame and significance of this activity.

Contribution to Evaluation Award

The Contribution to Evaluation in Canada award is granted to an individual(s) who has made a significant contribution to the theory and/or practice of evaluation in Canada. The award for the Contribution to Evaluation in Canada is open to CES members and non-members.

Find out more on the Canadian Evaluation Society website. Nominations for both awards closes February 2, 2018.

(Looking for more advanced courses? Stay tuned and watch our site for new courses as they're announced!)

Call for Volunteers: Membership Committee

Are you interested in becoming more involved with CES Ontario? Our Membership committee is currently looking for volunteers to help deliver our 2018 work plan. From planning the 2018 AGM + Learning Event, to working on the New Practitioner Pilot Program, to discussing outreach strategies for students and new graduates, and partnering on events with leaders in different evaluation sectors, joining the CES Ontario Membership committee is a great way to enhance your understanding of and involvement with evaluation in Ontario.

Please contact Kaitlyn at admin@evaluationontario.ca if you're interested in joining!
