Holiday-Party 

CES Ontario is pleased to announce Cross-Sector Conversation and Cheer, a holiday discussion and networking event. With a special focus on government, non-profit, and private sector evaluators, this event is open to everyone who wants to discuss key trends in evaluation in 2018. We will discuss challenges in working across sectors, and then break into smaller groups to brainstorm solutions. We'll wrap up by sharing our observations and ideas with the larger group.

CES Ontario is pleased to provide complimentary food and a drink ticket.

Call for proposals: C2018

The Canadian Evaluation Society Conference is now accepting proposals for conference presentations and pre-conference workshops. The 2018 conference will focus on Co-creation through themes of Integration, Transformation and Practice.

The conference will be held in Calgary, Alberta from May 27 to May 29, 2018. Pre-conference workshops will occur on Saturday, May 26, 2018.

Nominations now open: CES Awards

The Canadian Evaluation Society is pleased to announce its annual recognition of excellence in service and contribution to the field of evaluation in this call for nominations for the Service to CES Award and the Contribution to Evaluation Award.

Service to the CES Award

The Service to CES award is granted to one (or more) individual who is a member of CES and has made a significant contribution to the work of CES. This contribution would normally be made over a period in excess of two years; however, individuals who have performed in exemplary fashion during a shorter period of time may receive the award. The nomination is to include examples of demonstrated experience or activity and specify the time frame and significance of this activity.

Contribution to Evaluation Award

The Contribution to Evaluation in Canada award is granted to an individual(s) who has made a significant contribution to the theory and/or practice of evaluation in Canada. The award for the Contribution to Evaluation in Canada is open to CES members and non-members.
