We're seeking your expertise!

Want to help build evaluation capacity in the non-profit sector? Share your experience! As part of our focus on advancing the practice of evaluation, we have partnered with the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) to help build capacity in Ontario’s Public Benefit Sector. Together we are planning a series of events to help connect our experienced evaluators with non-profits working in the OTF’s Action Areas in order to share practical evaluation advice and guidance. The first half-day event will focus on OTF's Connected People Action Area.

CES-ON is looking for four evaluators who have experience in this area to be part of an expert panel for a half-day event in May, in the GTA. We are also looking for non-profit organizations with which you may have worked, that might be interested in joining to talk about their experience in doing evaluation in relation to Connected People.

Please let us know if you are interested in being on the panel by completing this short survey.

If you have questions, please contact admin@evaluationontario.ca

Volunteer with the Membership Committee!

CES-ON needs your help! Our Membership Committee is seeking new volunteers to contribute to some of the great projects planned for this year. Join as a full committee member or simply to take on a specific project. Our current needs include:

  • Member data analysis: how can we use the information at hand to better understand and serve our membership? This is a great position for anyone looking to develop a strong understanding of the evaluation landscape in Ontario and the needs of our members, and/or is looking to apply their data analysis and visualizations skills.

  • Student and New Practitioner outreach and support: help us promote the evaluation profession to students and support them and new practitioners in starting their careers in the field. This is a great position for someone looking to develop or build on ties with post-secondary programs, and who is passionate about helping others get established in our profession.

  • Communications and promotion: help us be more effective in reaching out to and supporting all our members’ information needs! This is a great position for someone looking to develop their communications skills across platforms (i.e. email, print, and social media).
